Hesston Steam Museum Information

Dearest Kindergarten Families,

May 15 is our big trip to Hesston Train Museum. We will leave Lincoln at 8:45 ET

for the 45 minute bus ride.  There we will rotate through 6 different activities,

including a few train rides and learning about steam engines. Students will need

a sack lunch for this field trip.  We will plan on requesting lunches from the school

for your student unless you would like to pack a lunch for them yourself.  We ask

that anything you send is disposable, as we do not want any lunch boxes or

containers left behind.   Please dress your student in their Laps for Lincoln shirts. 

We need plenty of chaperones to make this a successful learning experience. 

The cost for parents is $10 per person.  You will also need to provide your own

transportation and meet us at Hesston by 9:30 ET.  You may also bring your own

lunch if you want to.  Children are able to be taken home from the Museum if you

wish.  You just need to sign them out with your child’s teacher.  We will leave

Hesston between 1:00-1:15 ET and return to Lincoln around 2:00 ET.  Please help

us by filling out this form so we can order lunches and let the museum know how

many parents will be attending.  Please fill out this form (same link as above) as

soon as possible, but no later than May 1.  We look forward to this fun-filled learning

adventure with you and your child!
