Kindergarten Announcements
ELA
We learned this week about temperature and air pressure which are two of the four components that make up weather. We used a thermometer to watch the red line go up and down as the temperature gets warmer and cooler. We also learned that air pressure is when the particle of air press together or pull apart. High pressure usually results in fair sunny weather and low pressure results in wet, cloudy weather.
Our new sight words are that and not and we learned to spell the /w/ and /b/ sounds.
Math
We began our third math unit which includes identifying shapes that are the same and using words to describe them.
