Kindergarten Announcements
*Special thanks to the winter party planning committee and all who helped and donated items to make our party extra special. The kindergarteners had so much fun and bonded as a class. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
ELA
We finished reading Umbrella and worked together to determine the characters, setting, main idea and sequence of the story. We also discussed what “high quality” work looks like. This includes coloring within the lines, using colors that make sense, coloring the whole picture, and adding details. We also enjoyed watching the Nutcracker and many other fun holiday activities.
Math
We finished our week of learning by adding and subtracting 2 groups. We used 5 frames and counters to practice taking counters away from a full 5 frame
P2: None
Science: Wild Weather
This week our class learned to be Weather Watchers. That means we are paying attention to the sky and the clouds. We are noticing the temperature and the wind. We are watching for rain or snow.

We made Christmas designs with playdough, played Grinch Memory, completed a Color-by-Word, and used magnifying glasses to find hidden teen numbers.
