Kindergarten Announcements
ELA
We continued learning about trees this week. We learned
that trees provide food and shelter for animals. We
specifically learned about the Paper Birch, Live Oak, and
Coastal Redwood trees. We finished our Skills Block by
reviewing all of the fizzle words and welded sounds. We
learned to read the words say, day and again.
Math
This week we answered mathematical questions about the
community, identified numbers and quantities in the
environment, and practiced counting and writhing
numbers to 50.
P2: Perseverance
Perseverance is an individual’s ability to spend long
periods of time devoted to a single goal or set of goals.
People demonstrating high levels of perseverance are
able to handle significant, sometimes repeated, setbacks
in pursuit of goals.
Science: Animal Needs:
Students will use observations to understand the basic
needs of animals. Students will explore how animals
need things to eat and a safe place to live, and also how
animals can change their environments to meet those needs.
Rainbow Words
Please keep practicing these important words at
home every night.

This week we made counting books, played CVC
